We are looking for full and part time talented florists to join our team. The ideal applicants will have at least 3 years experience in wedding/event work as well as shop work.
You will be hard working and reliable, and not have an out the door on the dot attitude as you will need to work overtime on an odd occasion (for which you’ll get paid) You will have common sense, excellent customer service skills and good computer and telephone skills. Knowledge of media platforms such as Twitter etc would be an advantage.
You will enjoy all aspects of floristry in a busy retail shop including display, contract, wedding and funeral work.
You will be able to adapt to the style of the shop but also bring your own style and creative flair to the roll.
The part time vacancy is 2/3 days and the full time 40 hours.
As the shop is based in Knutsford in Cheshire the ideal candidate will have a clean driving licence.

What a week! I’m writing this after one of our busiest weeks ( apart from Valentines Day and Mothers Day of course). I promised myself I’d keep a diary so that I wouldn’t struggle to remember everything that we were going to have to do, but guess what. Anyway it was the RHS at Tatton Park and the shops and businesses in our lovely little town of Knutsford had been looking forward to decorating their shop fronts with flowers galore. Another wedding weekend loomed over us this week but something with a bit of a twist, an exotic twist… Hayley had decided on tropical flowers along with sunflowers to really bring the sunshine into her special day.
With six bridesmaids and 16 table arrangements we had lots to do, all hands on the deck! and soon as the chairs arrive, the scene is set…
We also had some arrangements to do for the Gallery3 exhibition in Knutsford, Rebecca Lardner coastal paintings needed a beach feel with pale lilacs, blues and a touch of white. We delivered them first thing Saturday morning, another early start, a florists work is never done.
